Touring the Nottoway Plantation

I guess tours aren't very popular on Tuesday mornings at 10am in January...because I was the only one on my tour of the Nottoway Plantation! My tour guide, Crystal, was super nice and very informative. I think I may ask for personal tours from now on! Here are a few of my favorite shots of the day!

Exploring LSU Rural Life Museum

Even though it was only 27 degrees in Baton Rouge, I decided to brave the day and check out the LSU Rural Life Museum. And I'm so glad I did! The chilly temps made for few visitors, so I pretty much had the place to myself (ok, ok, I did see three other visitors there!). My face was a bit numb after my time outside, but it was all worth it! There was so much to look at but here are a few of my favorite shots of the day.

Exploring Baton Rouge

I'm spending a few months in Baton Rouge currently and am enjoying experiencing a new culture. I was definitely not expecting the cold wave that hit a few days after I arrived, though! But I did enjoy snapping a few pictures of all the ice!
